What exactly is PointRN?
PointRN is a nurse-led service that helps patients and families understand and navigate their healthcare. We provide guidance before, during, and after medical visits so you can ask the right questions, understand your care, and make informed decisions
Are you replacing my doctor?
No. PointRN does not replace your physician or medical provider. We provide education, guidance, and support to help you better understand your care and communicate more effectively with your providers.
Do you diagnose or treat medical conditions?
No. We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. We help you understand what you’ve been told and guide you on what to ask and what to do next.
How is this different from my doctor?
Doctors are often limited on time. PointRN provides time, explanation, clarity, and preparation so you can make the most of your medical visits and understand what happens afterward.
How does it work?

What is included in the personalized response?
Your response is tailored to your situation and may include questions to ask your provider, clarification of your condition or plan, next steps, guidance for appointments, and lab or medication insights. Nothing is automated.
Do you offer ongoing support?
Yes. We offer one-time sessions, packages, and monthly memberships so you can choose the level of support that fits your needs.
Can you attend my appointment with me?
We offer live appointment support virtually.
Do you take insurance?
No. PointRN is a private-pay service and is not covered by insurance.
How do I pay?
All services are paid at the time of booking. Memberships are billed monthly.
What if I don’t know what I need?
Start with the free 15-minute consultation. We’ll review your situation and guide you to the right service.
Can family members be involved?
Yes. We encourage family involvement and offer sessions that include loved ones to help ensure everyone understands the care plan.
What types of things can you help with?
Appointment preparation, diagnosis understanding, lab review, medication questions, discharge planning, next steps after a visit, and navigating complex care situations.
Is my information secure?
Yes. All information is handled confidentially and used only to provide your personalized support.
How quickly can I get help?
Free consultations can usually be scheduled quickly. Personalized responses are provided after intake review. Additional sessions depend on availability.
What if I need more help after my session?
You can book a follow-up session, add services, or upgrade to a membership for ongoing support.
